Which big man will be most effective for Marquette this year. (listed alphabetically)

Ousmanne Barro
Trend Blackledge
Dwight Burke
Mike Kinsella
Jamil Lott

Obviously this can (and probably will) change during the course of the year, but I'm looking for opinions covering the whole season, but skewed towards who'll be best in February and March.

Desert_Eagle

Its definitely going to be Ousmanne, but I hope that the Trend surprises us with some steady production. I think that with a little time, his athleticism will outweight the fact that he is so skinny for a big man.

I voted for Ooze, but I'm hopeful for Lott.  He (and Kinsella) do have the senior thing going for them - and most seniors during Crean's tenure have stepped up to some degree.

WashDCWarrior

I went with Ooze and I think he's the safe bet, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lott or Trend are leading the way by the end of the year.  I do have some degree of comfort in knowing that we have 5 big guys, who are all at least serviceable.  The odds that at least one will really step up by the time our conference schedule starts are pretty high.  We'll just have to see who that's going to be.
