Eight locals to play in basketball all-star game

Kevin Hartley (Klein Collins), Brandon Laubach (Klein), Darius Gatson (Klein Forest) and Renaldo Noel (Cy Woods) will play for former Clear Lake coach Lynn McDonald's squad.

Hartley, who led Collins to the regional semifinals, will play for Northwestern Oklahoma State of the NAIA next year.

The team coached by Earl Barrier (former coach of La Marque, Channelview and Baytown Lee) includes Langham Creek's Steve Bob Nabena and Jeff Greene, Cy Springs' Erik Williams (a Marquette signee) and Steve Agwu (Cy Falls)
