Just was looking at the WIKI and wanted to add that MU officially added a Woman's Club Basketball program this past semester.

They played one tournament in Northwestern last Saturday and Sunday (April 25th and 26th) and got the first place trophy!

5-0!

Wow, great job. I'm sure this will increase the interest in Women Club Basketball by about none.

Is this like a traveling intramural team?  I'm confused.

I still got a blister from the burn  :).

Its a little more than a traveling intramural team.  There are tryouts and they are getting into a league I guess.  Playing different teams from Universities around the area (NU, Western Illinois).

There are restrictions on how many club team members you can have on an intramural team.  If you had all club team members they would easily win the intramural 'ship each year.

They just started this past semester, it's similar to Men's Volleyball and MU Football in regards to Club teams.

...except they have Varsity women's basketball.
