Several weeks ago someone asked where a game could be seen in the Madison area.  I would like to know what bar that was as I will be in Madison during the Providence game.  Thanks.

You'd be hard pressed to find any bar downtown that would definitely be playing it.  The Badgers are playing Northwestern at the same exact time in Madison.  The best bet is State St. Brats on the 600 block of State St., it has the most TVs.  You could probably convince the manager to tune 1 plasma screen to the MU game.

The Madison faithful have been wandering ever since Smokey Bones discontinued subscribing to ESPN Full Court.  Since then, we have tried Birds (in Fitchburg) and Babes (West Side of Madison).  Babes has worked best.

We used to go to The Oakcrest (now Lucky's), but that catered primarily to the communist school nearby.

I would have to imagine that buffalo wild wings would carry it.  They tend to have a very diverse set of tv programming going on and subscribe to full court by default.  Even down here in Texas in the middle of Mavs games, I have been able to fairly easily convince the managers at several locations to put the MU game on their big screen.  According to their website, there is one in Madison: 529 State Street (phone number is 608.255.WING).
