Anyone watching this game?  I have mixed emotions:

1.  NIT is pretty good this year
2.  UAB is, of course, an old CUSA adversary, and I hate
     ND, but I should root for a BE team??
3.  It's St. Patrick's day.  Unless ND is on Spring Break,
     why is the Joyce empty?

Nah, just a lot of fans dressed as empty seats. Or, something really contagious going around the Joyce. Then again, maybe some bad Mexican bean dish for dinner?

It's St. Patrick's Day.  They don't serve beer in the Joyce.  Their team sucks.  That's why no one's there.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I heard Gottlieb and whoever else he was on with at halftime of the Davidson SC game comment about the "over/under" for attendance at the Penn State game being 3,000.   So not too many fans their either.  I guess I'm pulling for ND - not sure why.  I suppose it's BEast tie in.

Every NIT game at the BC has been poorly attended as well .. I always found that odd.  It's a playoff game.  Yeah, it's not the Dance.  Tough, support the team.  It's amazing that there are .. 8000 season tickets, but about half don't buy tickets for an NIT game.

OTOH, I've always had awesome NIT seats!
