Not a basketball-related reason, but karma.  Here's why:

In 2003, we played Missouri on March 22nd in the 3-6 game, which just happened to be the day of my sister's birthday.

In 2009, provided we beat Utah State, we will play Missouri on March 22nd in the 3-6 game, which just happens to be the day of my sister's birthday.
