Harangody is a true tool but I think he has some class, that is 5-10-15 years from now he will most likely be a good productive member of society that i think people can expect to make the right choices in life and be a good moral person.

Devendorf ont he other hand is a pure scumbag.  Controversy every year, has been recommended by his own student body to be thrown out of the University, hits women, and can be counted on to make bad decisions at every turn.  Last night perfect example.  His team is up, he is not even part fo the altercation and is ready to fight. Then after coller heads prevail he continues to stare down and bait the oppostion. Including the play directly following his technical.  He should have been given a second and tossed.  A true classless POS.  I fully expect him to be the direct oppsoite of Like HArangody 10 years from now.

C'mon...Referees aren't going to give technicals for staring people down.

Put it this way, I would love to have Gody on our team.  There is no way I would want Devendouche.

when it comes to you just got a T and you're still provoking others on the court and making unnecessary gestures/looks at opponents because he know it will get under their skin and wants them to retaliate, it's worth a T. He did it twice:  once in the near corner after a 3 he just stared down his defender and then on a fast break he hit a 3 on the far side where he stomps his foot and pounds his chest (after this SH called a timeout and one of the assistant coaches was in his ear immediately, dunno if it was to tell him to keep up his D-bagness or to tell him to watch it as he already had one T at that point).

This is not even close.

Harongody plays to the refs too much, but otherwise I don't have much of a beef with him.  As mentioned, I would love to have him on MU and I have no reason to believe he's a bad guy off the court.

Devendorf - scum on and off the court.  If Buzz were to recruit a guy like this, I'd lose respect for him and my interest in MU basketball would wane.  I don't want MU to sell its soul for basketball.

Agreed 100%.  I'm not sure how this is even a discussion.

I'd be furious if a player with Devendorf's actions (on and off the court) was on the team.  Harangody is no different than Diener.  Love him on your team, hate him on the other guy's team.

Harangody is hard-working, great touch, good teammate, Bill Laimbeer-level whiner when he doesn't get a call.   He has never missed a shot without being fouled, in his mind.   Devendorf is an abehole.   I would happily take Shrek on my team.  I would hate to have Devendorf on my team.

As far as I know Gody is umm to quote a s* head only as a player, for Devendorf it goes a little deeper.  He is a s*head as a human.

Harangody is one of the biggest tools in the NCAA....that being said he still is a former Big East POY and if MU were to have him on the team wed be much better......I hate ND but you have to give Gody "some" credit

Devengoof is an absolute punk.  Someone I would never be able to associate myself with.  Since 3 years ago when he "shushed" the Marquette Student Section to his always being in the middle of altercations to his downright ugly looks and attitude.  I have zero respect for Devenpunk

Jawing at someone = technical

Stomping your feat and acting like an ass = should be technical

Staring at someone = douchebaggery, but not a technical.  I don't see how you expect a ref to be able to consistantly call something like that.

I am no fan of Devendorf but I think that Seton Hall is the dirtiest team in the league and can understand some frustration from any team when playing Hall.  Clearly he wanted to make it worse instead of better yesterday though.

Agreed - Seton Hall brings out the worst in other teams.  But Devendorf is the worst of the worst.  Boeheim's an ahole for standing by him.

which he did after a made shot as I stated earlier. Had he actually gotten a reaction from his stare down, it most likely would have elevated. I, for one, thought he and harvey should have been tossed after they needed to be restrained...Devendorf by 3 of his teammates and an official.

Harangody is a tool, but MU is a definite Final 4 contender with him.

Gody is a tool on the court, but seems to at least be a well adjusted member of society.  Devendorf is a tool on the court and a criminal off it.
