He might not have done a ton today, but it's nice to see Cubillan out there smiling and hustling.  He is still an energy guy and an experienced player.  We will need his tough defense on the perimeter and his hustle.

He played good defense and played an adequate PG.   This is what I would have projected for him after his freshman year.   I am very happy for him that he gets to redeem this nearly lost season.   Perhaps he is finally recovered from his shoulder surgery, ankle/achilles problems, etc.

very happy and quite relieved to see Cubi contribute today.  will be much needed down the stretch.  especially happy he wasn't throwing up quick 3's.  his ball movement/distribution looked great, and his D was a little more on then  usual.

Looked pretty good, and exceeded my expectations.  Good defense, a few impressive passes, some nice aggressive moves as well.  As Elmore mentioned more than once, he looked to be trying a little too hard to prove himself, but it's much better than just taking up space on the floor without clearance to shoot.  We could use any positive contributions he can give, and he's also playing for plenty of open minutes next year.

It was nice to see him play well - it will serve him well in the next games as he becomes more confident.  Wish a 3 would drop for him - when it does, he will be back!  Good job Cubie!
