End of Regular Season Poll

I can't think of a season when my expectations of a team changed so much during the course of the season.  My expectations weren't too high at the start of the season and were low after the loss to Tennessee.  But prior to Uconn, I thought we were really dangerous.  After losing these past 4, I think the team did pretty much as I expected.  Your thoughts?

It's tough to do because every person is gonna grade them differently now due to the injury. All things considered, I think they slighly overachieved. Definitely ending on a sour/bitter note, but nobody can help they had to face four top 25 teams in a row when DJ went down. And it's not like they lost badly (except the last 10 min to Pitt...and lets face it, I fully expected them to fold that game).

So, looking back, tons of excitement and great games. Some tough losses. A five seed in the brutal BEast. Can't really argue with the results.

It's tough to rate the season so short of a time after our latest defeat.

I, honestly thought we were up a creek when Buzz was named coach.  I'm glad to say that he's definitely won me over and I feel like our team played better ball this year (and were happier young men) than they have been the past couple years.

I'd say they met my expectations of what this senior group should have done this year.  Buzz far exceeded my expectations by turning Matthews into a force and putting together a great recruiting class.

I'm a happy alumnus.
