Big Papi

All I can say is CLUTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this the turning point for Fitz and free throw shooting from here on out?  If so, look out.

WashDCWarrior

While James was apparently named game MVP, Fitz was absolutely killing Pitt yesterday.  Don't know if it was caught on TV, the student section just erupted when he finally fouled out.  They knew what was up.

NYWarrior

Fitz' clutch trey with MU down three early in OT was HUGE.......MU was not sharp in the first 90 seconds of extra time, I thought it was slipping away.  His three tied it up, and seemed to re-energize the team.  Nice

Big Papi

I never saw Fitz so fired up as when he hit that 3 in regulation to give us a 9 point lead.  Fitz looks like a different player over the last couple of games, starting with the second half of the WV game.  We definitely need the new Fitz and not the old one.

MU71

This is more like the Fitz I expected this year.  He is not a star (not the NBA player people saw before he stepped on the court last year) but he should be a very capable #4 who will hit some treys and give us solid minutes (and give us veteran minutes.)

Fitz really was the difference in this one.  He seems to be less afraid to shoot the ball now, and the guards are getting him good looks, too.  Great performance.  He needs to stay in the game though; I was bumming when he fouled out, it was a pretty cheap foul to go out on.

WashDCWarrior

He has a knack for picking up very ticky-tack fouls.  Not bad calls, just never seems to get his money's worth on the 3, 4, 5 fouls he commits per game.
