But the first round matchup that provides MU's opponent doesn't jive with Rosiak's (http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=13329.0).

Yeah I noticed that, my assumption is Rosiak is predicting how it will unfold. There's a 3 way logjam at the 6-11 spot.

G'Town finishes hosting DePaul, Seton Hall plays @ Cincy, and St. John's is @ ND. Let's assume all the home teams win, then G'Town finishes 11th, and SHU and SJU play in the 12/13 game.

Good, I'd rather not play Gtown that first game.  Amazing that Georgetown finishes 11th.

Boy looking at that...any way the top four seeds don't all advance? What a difference between finishing 4th and finishing 5th.

GuyIncognito

Playing Georgetown one more time will allow me to wear my "Georgetown Blows" shirt 3 times in one season. It's been good luck so far.

Why does g-town not scare anyone else on this board.

We could realistically not win one more game this season.

Not really...MU and Villanova still have to get past each other to advance.

And I could see WVU beating Loserville.

Yeah, lets see....Seton Hall, St. Johns or G'Town.  Would love to see a Nova rematch on a neutral floor.

They scare me. They're a good team (for an 11th seed in a conference tournament). Plus, I'm a pretty firm believer in the adage that it's hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. I'd much rather play Seton Hall or Saint John's.

not really that neutral since Philly is a stone's throw from the City... where as Milwaukee is hours even by plane.

I would much rather play Seton Hall or St. John's than Georgetown.  Similar records but I think that Georgetown is better than their record.  Granted it is a "home game" for St. John's or Seton Hall, I'd rather play them.

I don't know the odds but I gotta believe that Georgetown is heavily favored hosting DePaul and Seton Hall should lose @ Cin, and St. John's should lose at ND.

In general I'd agree, not under the current scenario though. What a huge difference between 4thh and 5th place...MU, already undermanned will have to play Wednesday, should they be able to advance, they will have the honor pf playing 'Nova who will not have played a game in over a week. Had we gotten the extra bye, I'd feel ok about it. As it stands however, I'd give MU about a 15% chance of winning that game.
