GU is honoring the 25th anniversary of its 1984 championship team today, so crowd and Hoyas will be pumped up.

Wonder if Ewing is going to rock knee pads for the ceremony.

(old news)

I dunno.  I mean, two years ago, we had our 30 year 1977 ceremony .. was the crowd extra pumped up because of that?  I'm going with not really.   It was the Pitt game.  The fans were already excited.

Gtown fans aren't going to need more motivation than fleeting NCAA possibilities and a #10 team in their gym.

G-Town honored the 1983 team last year as well....Louisville is wearing throwbacks to the 1950's against MU.It seams teams pull out all stops against MU.I suppose next year G-Town,Villanova and St.Johns will honor the 25th anniversary of their FF teams against MU as well.

I was at that game in 1984 - Kentucky was leading at halftime, I believe, and then had no baskets for something like the first ten minutes of the second half - it was great!  The game was in Seattle, and I sat so high up that the players looked like ants and there were large videos set up so we could actually see what was going on.  That was back when it wasn't so hard to get FF tickets.  That being said, Go Warriors today!
