Tell me who your "last eight in" are and I'll tell you how I think they compare to Cincinnati, Georgetown, Providence and Notre Dame. I assume your omission of Syracuse means you no longer view them as "non-competitive". Does that mean 6 bids for the conference can now be put to rest?

84,

Lunardi's updated bracketology has 8 in (including Providence) with Georgetown and Cincinnati among the first 4 out. RIGHT NOW, 7 is a lock and 3 of the 8 battling for the final 8 spots are from the BEast. Assuming those 8 have equal chances, AS OF TODAY the mathematical probabilities are as follows: 6 = 0%, 7 = 12.5%, 8 =37.5%, 9 =37.5%, and 10 = 12.5%.

You used Lunardi's previous bracket (7 solidly in and 3 teams among the last 4 out) to support your "closer to 6 than 9" position. Giving the last 4 out a reasonable  mathematical probability makes 8 in the most likely scenario. Fuzzy math.
