Ironic Nova Fan Comment

A Villanova fan's comment which were published on TV said something along the lines of the fact that Marquette is overrated and that they have not played anyone good.

But...

HE JUST CALLED VILLANOVA A BAD TEAM.

Must we forget that Mu and Nova now have the same record and have split head to head.  Nova played no one in the pre-season.  I tip my hat to them tonight, but we are equal teams.  Nova will never shoot like that again outside of the Pavillion.  It's likely that MU and Nova will be the 4 and 5 seeds in the Big East, so that means we will probably see them at the Garden.

Along those lines, hearing the "OVERATED" chants at the game reminded me that it is simply way overused.  It has its place when a MAAC conference team knocks off UConn but please... Nova beats Marquette and we are overrated?  Nova is ranked #13 and we are #12 and we have already beat them... and we are overrated?  Makes absolutely no sense.

The dumbest chant in all of the sport.

Not only is the home team likely favored in these close matchups but by chanting that you then diminish the quality of your own team's victory. Another example of people in a crowd being sheep.
