Wade for President

MUEng92

No way.

That was from some unreleased commercial, right.  Like the Lebron James one where he is making full court jump shots.

That didn't really happen, right? Right?

If I was standing in that spot with nobody guarding me I could probably make 5 or 6 out of 10 bank shots.  But running full speed, with 2-3 defenders running along side, left handed, behind the head, perfect bank shot....uuuuhhhh no!

State

Great shot but let's use the law of averages here....

On any given game he probably attempts 5 shots of this type...figure over 90+ games in a season/playoffs he is bound to make a few 'OMG' shots.

The Heat are starting to look good...get Shaq back for more than 10 games at a time and once again they could make a nice run in the playoffs.

OT:  Favorite NBA player to watch play (other than Wade)??

I'd go with Nash.

Are you serious? You're trying to rationalize it? Have you watched enough Heat games to see if he attempts shots like this?

He just knows angles and got lucky...but man, what shots like that do for your rep.

LeBron or Gilbert. But Gilbert really makes cringe when it's an offday.

I remember that my cousin used to use this same arguement for saying Jordan moves and shots weren't as good as everyone said they were.  The problem with these arguements is that both Jordan and Wade (though wade not nearly as much) would do it multiple times through the season, whereas you would only see it a handful of times from other players combined through the league.  At some point you have to conceed that these guys are just that much better than everyone else.   I mean Wade even made shots like that in college multiple times.
