I love this comment from a UL fan:

1. Why did we wait so late to switch to a man to man defense? Look at Marquette's personnel. They are not a great team to zone. In fact, I really believe that if we had played man to man we would have won the game. The zone played right into their favor. I know that Pitino has forgotten more about basketball than I'll ever know but I cannot understand why they did not play man to man the entire second half. I kept screaming at the television, "Get out of the zone. They're killing us. Milking the clock, then penetrating for a wide open kick out for another 3, a lay-up or a second chance basket because we were out of rebounding position!"

In all seriousness, Bilas was right tonight.  Most of the 3 pointers tonight were after MU was set up with their feet towards the basket from the kick out.  Before we were getting looks from passes from the wings.  Murf has always been right on the kick out from the post or the lane being a better shot opportunity. The shooter will have his feet set in a better position to shoot when he receives the pass.
