Add Bob Wolfley to the list of card carrying MU haters.  This article is pretty offensive.  Calls MU "Team Munchkin" twice and has an entire paragraph about how MU can still "crash" and "lose what they have found."

Speaking of poor journalism, how is our friend Gary doing these days?

Card carrying MU haters?  Wolfley is a MU alum and one of the biggest MU supporters around.  He just happens to have a very sarcastic writing style and be a pessimist in general.

Calling this pretty offensive is also a huge stretch, he didn't really say anything that isn't true.

I actually kind of like it, Team Munchkin. Sort of Team David vs. Team Goliath. Maybe we could be the Munchkin Warriors and Father Wild wouldn't object.

Huh?  The column seemed positive to me.  Buzz coaching this group better than Crean...lot to be said for senior leadership...still time for things to go sour but what a remarkable story so far...

Here in the Northeast that column would be seen as a glowing tribute.  I suppose you can find negatives in anything.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

I think you need to sharpen up your reading comprehension skills:

"It's impossible to argue that Crean could be coaching Team Munchkin any better than Williams has.

And it cannot be overstated that Team Munchkin is also Team Senior Leadership, a veteran club in its fourth year playing together. You get to collect certain benefits in the fourth year when players like that stay together for all that time.

Now there's a ton of season left for Marquette to crash, and plenty of opportunity to lose what they have found.

But what a remarkable start for this very odd and interesting team."

It is pretty tough to find a negative part about the above...

He called MU "odd."  What an a%#hole.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

It really is an odd team.  No big men, no bench, historically not a great shooting team.  Its success is a testament to what experience plus great chemistry and toughness can acheive.
