I knew Shrek was going to go off for about 30/15, but if we shut down everyone else we were going to win.

1. Acker/James did a hell of a job locking down McClerny.  His one three was in transition and the rest of his points came on back door cuts and FTs, which is perfect.

2. James snatching 9 boards was sick.  I think he still has a chip on his shoulder about the whole Zeller thing.

3. McNeal was a stud again.  He launches 3s at critical moments . . . "dagger moments" and makes a good percentage of them.

4. Matthews may be physically our strongest player and I was impressed with the way he D'ed up Shrek.

5. I was surprised Tory Jackson was able to hit at least two threes (that I remember) at the end of the game.  Letting Jackson launch threes is a fine defensive strategy.

I really think we can beat Gtown on Saturday and the Bradley center will be rocking.  I haven't felt this good about an MU team since my freshman year (FF run).
