If a coach is the highest paid position in your institution and the PR arm for your University on a national level,  dont you think, one should have high expectations?
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

But if your expectations are too high, you may end up driving good guys away...or not attracting them to begin with.

But if you are only motivating/retaining employees with $$, you aren't going to keep them long.

He/she will jump at an opportunity for more $$ or what they perceive is a better situation. (ie I like the money, but this just isn't worth it anymore).

However, one can still expect high expectations from the highest paid employee.

Absolutely.  Of course, there's the be careful what you wish for back side of that argument.....something NC State has had to live with ever since Sendek left.

For now, the winner is Arizona State and Sendek, not NC State.  That may change, but right now that's the case.

For Now, I think Lowe will right the ship at NC State and he is probably in for the long haul.
