Golden Eagles Set To Host Villanova Thursday In BIG EAST Opener
         

The rv/25 Marquette University men's basketball team opens the BIG EAST Conference portion of its 2008-09 campaign Thursday afternoon when the team hosts No. 15/13 Villanova at the Bradley Center. The New Year's Day matchup tips at 1:30 p.m. CT and a national broadcast on ESPN features Jon Sciambi (play-by-play) and Fran Fraschilla (analyst) calling the action.
