bilsu

I go back to 1963. My first favorite player was Tom Flynn and remember going to the freshmen games to watch McGuire's first two big recruits Jim Bailey and George Thompson play.

THEGYMBAR

Bilsu---I loved George big time. He was and is one of my all time favorites. Plus he is a really good man. Talking AL era ball is big hobby of mine. My college aged kids love hearing the stories. He was a big part of my life and entire family for that matter.

Hey, I can 2nd the GYMBAR and bilsu discussion because I, too, was livin' the dream back in the day.
