"The Lord is a Warrior" - Exodus 15:3

haha I'd like to see anyone say that before today, but great job Dom.  Clutch shots.

Gwaki

What a shot!!  Man he really stepped up tonight when we needed him.

mviale

That was a mature and confident Dom James.  Great tuneup for the BE.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Great passing also.  Showed his leadership.  Was worried about playing them, an average ACC team, but Costner shooting 9 for 10 with 5 for 5 in threes kept them in it.  Good effort and nice road win.

MUfan12

When it's winning time that's who I want with the ball in his hands.

Kid is a winner, always has been. Played an outstanding second half in all facets, including the HUGE strip of McAuley.

farmdaddy

That was one hell of an exciting game.  Glad to see one that close break in our favor especially on the road.  WAY TO GO DJ!

Friends call me Shaka

what is the MU radio feed of our games? I thought it was WMUK or something like that but couldn't hear it tonight...thx

Badgerhater

ESPN 540.  Had no problems with the stream tonight.
When we stop talking, really bad stuff happens.

the quickest way is use the resources tab on the top left of the screen...then click on gametime audio and it puts you directly in!

james was huge tonight. Hopefully, his performance will put him over the hump, and convince him that he can dominate with the ball in games. We will need him to step up in the BE.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

chapman

Memories of Valpo two years ago.

If I had any doubt that James is still who I want to take the last shot, it all went away.

I'll be honest--no way I wanted James taking that shot.

Actually a lot of folks on here were saying that before today.  I for one have ALWAYS been a huge fan of Dominic.  The guy is a winner!

He was brilliant, simply brilliant, down the stretch. I cringed when he took the first 3-pointer but that was the springboard. He looked the Dom of old.

James has been my favorite player on this team since his freshman year.
But I like to throw handfuls...

I totally agree.  For the last two years now his first three pointer of the game I have usually cringed and said no in my head.  I am happy for him and hope he can keep this up.  We have been needing a game like this from him for some time and we finally got it.  I have always said Jerel is the best of the three, but when it comes down to it, DJ runs the show.

Congrats Dom!
