OT: Anyone watching the UConn/Gonzaga game?

The game is in OT after UConn hit a 3 with 8 seconds left to tie it.  Big East could use a big win after Louisville (who I think is a bit overrated right now) went down today.

Gus Johnson is in mid-season form with the play by play.  He about lost his voice again with that shot.

A bogus technical foul on Thabeet in overtime was his fifth.  He did nothing to deserve a T.  Gus Johnson was pissed.  Guess that's Jim Burr for ya.

UCONN takes the game though 88 to 83 I believe the score was.

Thabeet totally deserved being given the T......it was obvious he was taunting the guy from Gonzaga he posterized. 

Gonzaga should give all MU fans hope, because if they can develop their program like this in SPOKANE (i.e. the crystal meth capital of USA) then there should be no doubt that we can do the same.

This was a great game. It shows that we can really exploit uconn with our pentration if we can put thabeet into foul trouble. I think that chris is the only one with a ability to do this as well as heytfelt did, so hopefully he comes a long way until this game.

Agreed with the Tenn taunting comment.  If chism got a T for every time he got fouled, got a rebound, or hit a shot and then began jawing while pounding his chest we would have won by 15.

I was surprised Chism didn't get a T after a huge dunk towards the end of the second half.  He posed, pounded his chest, and yelled.  I thought it would for sure be a T after whatever little thing Dom did to deserve his.

This game felt like March.  On CBS, UCONN vs Zags, Gus Johnson with the call.. had all the ingredients.

Good to hear Gus Johnson doing college basketball instead of NFL now.  Not a fan of his calls during football games, but during hoops, no one is better.
