Congrats Chicos - mission accomplished.

Just be clear mviale, back to the point, my love for MU is as high as anyone else's here.  I want Buzz to succeed.  For some reason, if one dares to question a few things then instantly they are labeled as anti-Buzz or anti-MU.  For whatever reason.  Haywire is classic at it.

We'll know in a few years if he was a good hire.  He is a very likable man, works his tail off.  Two wonderful traits.  Will that translate to wins and losses?  We shall see.  But rest assured, I want MU to win and win often. If that's with Buzz, great.  If it's not with Buzz, that's fine too.  As long as MU stays at least at the level they've had the last 10 years, I'm a happy camper.  If we go beyond that, then I'm in heaven.  If we fall below it, then that's problematic.

According to some, you don't fit the definition of a fan.

Anyone who spends the god awful amount of time that we do on MU basketball--whether lover, hater, kool-aid drinker, sarcastic comic, student, alumni, Badger troll, stats geek, reporters, coaches, coaches' wives, AD spin doctor, homer--are MU FANS.  This ain't the Woodstock love-in...in fact, I am glad I wasn't old enough for Woodstock as it didn't look so great....although I am sure some would say: "It's Woodstock, It's Woodstock!" (that one never gets old).

Uh...we only won by three at home with the best team we will have in the next decade.....

This team continues to be a disappointment. End of story.

I'll agree that this team is a disappointment (but what can you expect with no inside presence?) so far this year but it's hard to say that this will be the best team we will have in the next decade when 1.) future recruits are still 8 years old and 2.) In 3 years we could be going (at the very least) cadougan, maymon, williams, roseboro, mcmorrow - and you have to think buzz is going to land a SG in '10 if not this year.

...but your main point was probably the one mostly everyone agrees with.

Uhm, newsflash.....I was there Haywire.  In Vegas.  At the MGM.  I didn't have much of a choice to tell HBO that I needed to watch the MU game when I was there on their dime.  It wasn't a matter of choosing the fight over the MU game, I was there on business.  And with tickets at face value at $1000.00, I'm not about to say "can I skip this to watch a Marquette game".  Sorry pal, that's not how it works.  Tim, Kevin and Rob sent me updates on the blackberry so I knew what was happening.  I was there in spirit and watched it yesterday when I got home.

Anything else you would like to add Haywire?

And I apologize for the Notre Dame comment if it was incorrect.  If I don't see teal, I assume it's legit.   You should put all your messages in teal as a courtesy to everyone.  And what the hell is a discont? What is a gmaes?

By the way, VEGAS IS ABSOLUTELY DEAD right now.  The economy is killing them.  Tables open aplenty.

Mr. Hayward -- come on, did you not see how jaybilaswho? was humbled when he made an assumption about my gender and sports-playing history?  let us remember not to make assumptions; however, on the other hand, I too was bewildered about chicosbailbonds statement about not being at the game as i didn't know who oscar and manny were.  but more power to him, and i am glad he kept up with the game, even if it was on a crackberry  (the horror!!)

2) Chicos-- no kidding about vegas; it seems like every other person working in medicine is there every week!!

3)  Knight Commission!! Don't bring dishonor on my surname anymore!  It's not very chivalrous of ya, anyway.

it's funny that chicos now makes that proclamation.  considering when people that did not like Crean made the same statements he was all over them.
