but seriously, while I cannot go and even though it is preseason, that is a great gesture.. rocky - what do you think of a ticket corner on this site somehow? a place where people can list tickets they cannot use or want to sell (at face value of course).

I'll have to think about that.  Ahoya tried it but then nobody ever looked at that board...unless they were unloading tickets...so it failed.  I think that we've got an advantage with the way message are displayed here, so that they don't get lost as easily - even on the main board.

If it ends up there are lots of offers, we could probably create a sticky thread for each game.  Also, mods have the ability to merge threads, so if several people offer in different threads, it's possible to put all those offers in one.

For now I'd encourage people to post ticket offers on the main board, and we'll figure things out if it starts happening a lot.

Yeah, I agree with Rock.  Usually tickets are available 0-1-2 days before the game, and you've gotta get rid of them, gotta get the most amount of people to see they are up for grabs.

Leave it on the main board .. unless it gets out of hand at some point, which never happened on Ahoya.

I admit I'm biased, though, as I'll be putting a number of tickets up for grabs this year during the OOC schedule.
