Hard not to have that kind of knee-jerk reaction. Defense like this and six BE wins may be a pipe dream. Otule and Fulce better be able to play 30 minutes each.

I saw 2 of the 100 or more point games, and I was always wondering how we scored that much.  Defense all year has been poor, especially when a guy shorter than Acker lights McNeal up for 30 points. 

I remember last year, we looked nasty against Chaminade, but the we lit up Oklahoma State and then we would have beaten Duke if the refs weren't on their payroll...I've yet to see us come togethe like we did against Oklahoma State in Maui.  Until that point I thought we were pretty much doomed...and I've yet to feel that optimistic about our guys.

The only thing worse than the game was the announcers.  Living in So AZ, I haven't seen them in many years.  Awful!!!
Can't anyone tell them to "SHUT UP" and let us watch the game.

Read what I said, jmayer. I said, "Defense like this, and six BE wins may be a pipe dream." If we play defense the way we did tonight, I stand by that statement. I don't think we will continue to be this bad, however. Please don't label me a fair-weather fan because I don't happen to think that performances like tonight's will lead to BE success.
