thought he was going to wait until spring to decide.

good luck to him.

PC was expecting Colvin but took Lacy.

They project him as a super fast PG.  I always thought the board felt that he was a 5' 10" SG.  True?

He's playing with ND Prep this weekend down here in a tourney.

I was under the impression that he was a shoot first PG and not the traditional floor leader type.  I know there wasn't much doubt about his ability to score.  In addition there were always academic issues surrounding him, which led to speculation about him ending up as a 2010 prospect.

He plays like a 5'10 SG.  Doesn't mean he can't be a PG, just that it's unlikely.  Lacy has all the skills to be a traditional pass first, ball distributing PG.  He just doesn't have that mindset.  Maybe Keno Davis can change that....but I doubt it.  Most shoot first point guards tend to stay that way forever.

The easiest way to cure that is to sit him on the bench until he plays the way the coach wants him to.

You might as well not even recruit him if thats what you're thinking becuase I think there is a better chance of him transferring than changing his game if that were to happen.

Big Papi

The kid is very talented and is a very good pickup for Providence.
