It occurred to me at last night's game after Culliban hit a couple of threes what a difference a healthy Culliban could have made at the end of last year. I remember him not being able to hit a three and had no idea he was hurt until he had surgery on both shoulders. So I decided to look up how he did in our losses at year-end.

We lost to Stanford in OT 82-81. Culliban was 0-3.
We lost to Pitt 68-61. Culliban was 1-7.
We lost to Syracuse 87-72. Cullian was 0-1
We lost to Georgetown 70-68 in OT. Culliban was 0-1.

In our last four losses Culliban 1-9 from three and 1-12 overall. I do not think he would have made a differnce in the Syracuse game. I certainly would argue we would not have lost to Georgetown and Stanford if his shoulders were healthy. He could have made a difference in Pitt game also.

This really shows how we need everyone healthy at year end.

Very interesting.  Hard to know if this is the primary cause or one of many, but a noteworthy observation nonetheless.
