Wade for President

Sure, giving up 87 points to an inferior Chicago State squad is very alarming, but it's not the focus of my post.

I realize Houston Baptist and Chicago St are not the most intimidating opponents, but the offense through the first two games has been incredibly impressive.  I don't recall the last time we put up over 200 points in back-to-back games (Wiki help?).

I think removing the 900 offensive sets that Crean had in place, has helped free up these guys.  We heard Lazar commenting on Wes's first few games, and how this offense is predicated on guys who can do a lot of different things.

I think the ball movement, unselfishness, and shot selection (aside from a couple errant McNeal 3 balls), has been much improved.  Given our lack of height and experience, Buzz has done a great job in giving these guys the freedom to run more conventional plays.
