I guess this is the first year they're doing it. They using the EA Sport 09 College Basketball game to determine their pre-season rankings.

It's an hour long show and I missed if MU was on it. They're going to show it in SF again on 11/16.

It showed today (11/2) in Chicago and Green Bay, and it's supposed to show in Milwaukee on 11/15 @ 8:00 p.m. on WMKE.

Here's the nationwide TV schedule:

Here's the home page (nice video, but no MU):

EDIT: They have a section for voting on the Toughest Venues of CBB. MU didn't make it...Click on the link to vote for the 10 toughest.

WTF, how did they pick those home arenas... seriously though Penn? St Joes? NC State? Minnesota?? Some of these schools have a hard time drawing fans how in the world are they considered a better home court than Marquette??????

Man, you are preaching to the choir.

I can see Minnesota's unique court, but a tough venue?

I can even see St. Joe's...

and maybe NC State was a tough place to play...20 YEARS AGO.

I know it's probably a little OT, but I'm never gonna play EAs College Basketball game.  It's so sad they bought the rights to it...2k had a great product there.

+1 The 2k games were amazing...

Eh. I always felt that every College Sports game has very little effort put into it. They are the previous year's NBA game graphics and controls with college teams. It always put a bad taste in my mouth that such little effort was put into the games.

Back in '05/'06, it seemed like the 2k college hoops games were more standalone, and were great. They kept my interest for months. I haven't bought one in a while, so I'm not sure about the current offerings.

All I play these days is NCAA Football '08 on my regular old XBox anyway, so I'm out of touch with newer games.

I strictly play college hoops 2k8 and I can say it might be the top sports game that I have ever played.  There is just so much attention to detail and realistic gameplay that I don't think march madness will be able to match for at least a few years.
