What a surprise I've come across today as I am working in Ghana, West Africa and I'm watching the presidential debate (their election is on Dec 7th). Turns out that one of the candidates, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, attended MATC, MU and UW-Madison. He earned a certificate in Management from MU sometime between 1973 and 1975 continuing on to earn a BA, MA and PhD all from Madison.

This quote from his website (www.nduom.com) is interesting: "Dr. Nduom's university education was self-funded through jobs in a meat factory, a parking lot, a cannery and an internship with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, all in Milwaukee, Wisconsin."

I wonder if he was educated at the 'Lanche too.

For what it's worth, he's barely a long-shot candidate to win, but he's likely to garner enough votes as a third-place finisher that they will need a run off, one that he'll likely not be part of.
