I totally am pulling a senior moment on this kid:

University of Kentucky men's basketball has reportedly added a player to its 2008-09 roster.

Several outlets report 6-foot-5 Donald Williams out of Temple Hills (MD) Progressive Christian Academy has enrolled at UK, becoming the program's 13th scholarship player. The university hasn't confirmed or denied any reports as yet.

Williams was set to walk on at Marquette, with the promise of earning a scholarship after a redshirt season. He also visited St. John's, Chattanooga and Central Florida.

Kentucky opens its season November 14th hosting Virginia Military Institute.

MU was recruiting him before McMorrow signed. He had visited St. John's and was suppose to visit MU. There was never any mention of him walking on to MU.

sounds like if mbakwe had left a little earlier that walk on offer would have turned into a scholarship.  thanks Trevor

Apparently UK got a hidden gem according to Gibbons.  I agree that I doubt he would be a walk on.
