Input on 2010 recruiting

I am no expert here, but is MU struggling with 2010 recruiting?  I see that IL already has a 5 star and a couple 4 stars.  I clicked through all the other recruits and it doesn't seem like there are players interested in Marquette.  Is it just too early or is something else at play?  Thanks for the input guys.

It's still very early in the game for '10.   These guys can't sign their LOI for another 15 months and are just headed into their junior year.

Don't put much stock in lists for 2010 kids until their season actually starts.  Right now, most of the sites do a bad job of keeping up with them as they are trying to finish out 2009.  For example, right now if you look at Scout's top 5 players in 2010, two are committed.  The other three guys are Harrison Barnes, Josh Smith and Brandon Knight.....and MU is involved with all three of them.  All three of them have either mentioned MU in an article or their coach has mentioned MU or the writer has mentioned MU being a part of their recruitment.  Yet if you take a look at the lists of schools on Scout or Rivals or any of the recruiting sites, MU isn't mentioned.

So until 2009 recruiting really winds down, you can pretty much ignore the lists out there for 2010 and 2011, as they won't be up to date.
