Pretty sure he'll be moving up the Rivals 150:

Junior Cadougan, PG, Grassroots Canada

Perhaps the best way to judge a point guard is by wins and losses, and if that is the case, Cadougan grades out awfully high. In leading his team to the championship of the adidas Super 64, Cadougan looked like the point guard he was destined to be when he hit the national spotlight at the start of his high school career.
With his strength, quickness and sharp skills, Cadougan gave his team proficient outside shooting, a burst into the lane where he both hit shots and found shooters and most importantly confident leadership.

Wait,
Does this guy know that Murf says Cadougan isn't quick?  He's gotta be a liar...everyone knows Junior is too slow and too poor a shooter to compete in the BE. ;)

It seems more and more likely that 2009 will be a class that doesn't have a consensus #1 prospect. Much like Crean's 2005 class, it seems like Cadougan, Williams, and Maymon will each be pegged as the best prospect by different fans. A good problem to have.

The class is shaping up wonderfully. With such a strong collection of talent you can only hope that the last addition isn't in the form of a reach for the Big East level. So far, indications are good.

Aren't all of our schollies used up? Maymon, Williams, Cadaugan, Buycks?

dwaderoy2004

yes, all of our currently available scholarships are taken up.  but all signs point to Buzz continuing to recruit for the 09 class, maybe to protect against maymon (or buycks) not qualifying, and maybe because he expects a transfer, or early nba entry (lazar...but he'd have to have a monster year).  we'll see i guess.

Or maybe Hazel or one of the new big men Do not Work out.

all reports say Hazel will step up this year. he's been vocal in the scrimmages they've had and held his own against Robert Jackson, Ouse and some other former MU big men that are helping out.

Rosiak: Pat Hazel: Had a couple of nice blocks and looked to be more aggressive and confident. Even still, he's got a lot more work to do to become a consistent contributor.

didn't say how much but he will step up and be able to fill in when needed.

i actually really liked the little bit i saw of hazel last year.  he's got a pretty big body and a good base.  granted, he was in at garbage time, but he competed and grabbed a lot of rebounds in limited minutes.

Thomas' Danish Delight

Hazel's a beast in College Hoops 2K8, and like dwaderoy, I really liked what I saw from Hazel in his limited minutes...just like Trend always had a dunk when he was put in, I think Hazel had like a block a game or close to it.
