passion of da coach

Any recruiting news on CJ Fiedorowicz, he's a 6'8" sophomore, he's Paige's (Women's Bball) younger brother?

Is he any good, who's looking at him?

Fiedorowicz's college future probably is in football, not basketball. He's a wide receiver (6'8" seems a bit big, I've seen him listed between  6'5" - 6'7") and considered one of Illinois' top three players in his class. Notre Dame, Northwestern, Florida, Oklahoma, Missouri, Purdue, Michigan and Wisconsin are among the school showing interest.

The kid's an athlete, there's no doubt about it.  I coached up in Richmond, IL for a couple years (didn't get to see him play, unfortunately) but I've heard nothing but good things about him.  Random tidbit of info (not sure if it's true or not), but I guess he set the state record for dunks by a jr. high schooler in a season.  Who keeps track of that anyway?  Whatever sport he chooses to go to college for , he's probably gonna be pretty good at it.

I knew there was a lot of interest in football for him, I believe he was at one time a decent prospect for baseball also, I just wasn't sure if anyone was looking at him for basketball.
