They say he is probably going to Minnesota!

rocky_warrior

That article has been posted previously....but I don't think it's correct.

1) Marquette wouldn't release Mbakwe until the academic semester was over (see: DMas)

2) The opening lines of the article seem to indicate it's from when he was first being recruited:

QuoteTrevor Mbakwe, a 6-foot-8 freshman forward from Marquette, has been granted his release. Mbakwe attended Henry Sibley and St. Bernards and re-took his college entrance test this past weekend with the hopes of enrolling at Marquette. Mbakwe is expected to consider Minnesota among his school choices.

At the very least - I'd wait for an edit to the story.

Any change of a summary? Been banned for a long time...

The Scout post was just reiterating what was said here. Odd story, looks like it's from his HS days, and not that it means he won't transfer after all, but this shouldn't be viewed as any kind of confirmation.

I was banned from that site so many times that Dodds finally put a block on my IP address.  Whats the deal with Dodds?  Sure some time I may have been over the top, but once I was banned for calling Crean's latest class worthless....which, as it turns out, is worthless.

PuertoRicanNightmare

Dodds works for Marquette and may have been Crean's house boy.

I was banned for disagreeing about the JS having a bias against Marquette.

Maybe he banned you for insulting worthlessness.  TC didn't leave b/c It's Indiana, he left b/c his Class of 2011 was starting to rival his class of 2007.

Its a badge of courage and honor to be banned from that site. Wear it proudly.

are you making a joke or does dodds truly work for marquette?

eagles4ever

Trevor said he had family issues. Marquette will still honor his scholarship however.

I beleve he works (or did) at all MU home games in a scoring capacity I believe.  He also has a law degree and works as a financial planner / estate planner I believe.

Dodds has been one of MU's official scorers for decades.  He's also one of the guys that went back through the archives years ago and put together the in depth stats for the old media guides.

mu_hilltopper

You can see Dodds working at the scorers' table on just about every MU home game telecast.  He's usually wearing gold, and has mostly white hair.
