Fox Sports and CBS Sportsline:  Buzz Williams to be new MU coach

Written by: NY Warrior

Jeff Goodman from Fox Sports reports tonight that current Marquette assistant Brent 'Buzz' Williams will be named the program's new head coach tomorrow.

Here's the link to Jeff's report.

Gary Parrish at CBS Sportsline also reports Buzz is MU's choice.

Much more to come.

In following this board, its hard not to be disappointed with this news.  Buzz has been portrayed as the "easy" option, one that will keep the current team and recruits happy.  Then just it seemed it was a done deal, this rumor about Bennett having second thoughts came out of the blue and got everyone excited.  But before that rumor was squashed, now its reported that Buzz is indeed the coach.  Worse, Crean is somehow behind the decision.

Difficult to be excited about the hire.  Impossible if reading the posts these past few days.
