Buzz may, in the long term, be just fine.
This hire, however imo, was NOT what MU hoops needs right now.

I fully expected that MU would finally be able to attract and contract a known commodity, all things considered.
not an unknown assistant known for his recruiting prowess and little else.
It makes MU smack of inferiority- that it couldn't and wouldn't transition from, since Al- asst coach, asst coach, small college coach, small college coach, asst coach, asst coach... MU has not arrived.

I will support the team and the coach.
And time will tell if my suspect eye was lazier than I belief MU admin was in this hire.

But I think a big statement that ought to have been made was not by a incredibly mute AD et al.
