And now it looks like we have a scheduled press conference, I expect to feel a lot better about this hire tomorrow at this time.  If he's as good a recruiter as they say he is, and he wowed the powers that be, I expect that he'll be able to win some of us over at the press conference.

What between now and then is going to make you feel any better about this hire?  Are we also going to announce the signing of 3 5-star recruits for next year's class?  That would be about the only thing that would make me change my mind...

I hope the press conference makes me feel better.  If he's a great recruiter, he knows how to win people over.  If he's named, he won the powers over pretty quickly.  If the press conference is unimpressive, I'll be skeptical of those two things.  There's still a question about his coaching ability, but if he impresses me with the press conference at least I'll feel good about the reasons he was supposedly hired.
