MU in Miami

I realize this.  I also realize he will start poaching the last few recruits he contacted while at MU (such as Franklin).  In another line of work, you would probably be sued for this type of thing.  Just does not sit well.

Am I the only viewer on line that is surprised to see a contract on a website?  I would think these things would be a little more secure.  Also, no letterhead?  Who's to say the fax is authentic?  I guess letterhead doesn't make it authentic either, but again, I'm a little taken aback by how something as personal as a contract can wind up on a message board.  I guess I'm just naive.

MU in Miami

I am guessing that since IU is a state institution, the document is a public record.  I believe the document was first published in the newspaper.

Nothing personal when you are a government employee.

Personally, I think the person who posted the contract should be tarred and feathered. Not lynched though, that would be too much. ;D

Sorry romey, I couldn't resist.

Not really.

Almost all states - that I know of - publish or make salaries public. It just happened in the Sacramento area, when the Sac Bee made public links to find state employee salaries. It happened in Milpitas, CA as the local newspaper published all salaries - high (Police chief) to low (water park assistant) - last month.

The conditions look legit...but I don't equate this fax posting with what has been going on with celebrity medical files. Crean is employed at a public university now, which means more transparency than ever as opposed to being at MU.
