So now has the team woke up?
« on: December 11, 2006, 01:34:54 PM »
All year we have said the close games against below-average teams were "wake up calls"... I wonder if our big 3 has woke up, because although some might disagree, that UW game was a game in which we could have won, Wisconsin scored 70 while shooting over 50%.... this Marquette team should score 80 at ease, why we didn't take the tempo is beyond me, and why Matthews played point is beyond me, let JAmes handle it, with the ball, he is the quickest player in the league, it baffles me why we take his biggest strength out of his hands, Wake Up Marquette, I am sick of making excuses for you and thinking it will get better.  This is my rant from pent up anger of being ridiculed at the bars from BADger fans..... now I am okay

one thing I'll say after reading all of the disgruntled and generally pissed off posting is that it all makes me feel better about our team actually...

huh?

yep.. makes me feel better.. why?  because the overwhelming majority here are dissapointed.  That means we expect more from this team... which in turn means that we believe they have a lot more potential.

yep.. and that makes me feel better.  so thank you!   :)
