i think we should seriously consider geno auriemma.

You may be on to something.  Fitz does run like a girl sometimes.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Nobody makes a bigger splash than Rick Majerus.
Cannonball!

nothing against geno, but women's and men's basketball is totally different.  yes, the principles are the same, but the specifics and the way the games are played are almost completely distinct.  Not to mention teenager egos: "I'm not gonna play for a WOMEN'S coach!"  It would be a splash, that's for sure, but not the right one...

I just almost fell outta my chair laughing. Pakuni, that's the best line I've read in here in awhile.

i dont know...i mean hes in the hall of fame and everything.  i dont think he would leave for a mens job anyway, he has too good of a thing going at uconn.

dwaderoy2004

I don't think he would leave either, and he sure does know how to coach women's basketball.  I just don't know how well it would translate to a bigtime men's program.  I wouldn't like for MU to be the guinea pig...

reinko

big splash ya say?

maybe mangino would like to try coaching basketball!
