1) I guarantee PRN loves this one.  The dismissal of Armon Bassett and JaMarcus Ellis, two of IU's starters this morning, supposedly by lame duck Dan Dakich.  As some feel Crean is a control freak, he wanted these players out to "clear way" for whoever he decides to bring in.

2) http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/story/10753836 Kevin O'Neil said last week that he would honor his contract and remain on Lute Olson's staff.  Shortly after the Crean accouncement hits, the story comes out that O'Neil is not returning to Arizona, supposedly because Olson doesn't want him there.  I'm praying this one is at least coincidental.

There is no doubt about number 1. That one is pretty obvious. Number 2 I think is probably coincidence.
