Complete turn of events: Stanford playing tall

Written by: Emmett Prosser

Stanford appears to have made an adjustment as both Brook and Robin Lopez appear to be getting much better position in the first five minutes of the second half. Once down 11 points, Stanford has erased an 11-point deficit. Ousmane Barro also has three fouls. That could play a role late in the game.

Two other nuggets to keep in mind...Marquette has seven team fouls...The Cardinal will be in the bonus the rest of the half...Stanford has 1 (maybe the Trent Johnson technicals have paid off). Stanford leads 54-49 with 12:03 left.

This game is in Anaheim Calif. The pro-Stanford crowd is awake again.

Will Marquette's foul trouble cause problems down the stretch, or will the Golden Eagles find a way to get the tempo in their favor again?
