Not to pick out the only negative thing I can think of today, but:

It's too bad his de-redshirting didn't work out better . . .  I don't even think he got in the game today!

An off season of working on his offense will serve him well.

Could he have practiced with the team as a redshirt? If not then maybe the practice time is the biggest benefit.

I suspect, though, that he'll get time vs. Stanford's bigs.
