The Marquette University (24-9) men's basketball team has been selected as the No. 6 seed in the South Region and will play No. 11 Kentucky (18-12) in the First Round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship the selection committee announced today. The opening-round contest will take place Thursday, March 20 in Anaheim, Calif.
