Yeah, amazing we don't see more traffic incidents on video.

It's scary because .. 2 months ago in Milwaukee, a tire came off a truck, did the exact same thing, bounced over into oncomming traffic .. hit a BMW, killed the driver, who was the chief doctor at a local hospital. 

One day you're driving home from work, the next minute, boom.  No chance to swerve.  Dead.

yeah.. tire incidents must not be uncommon on that stretch.. I used to do a daily drive from MU to Racine for a summer job.. ended up running over a good portion of tire that came flying at me in the middle of the interstate (from a truck blowout).  No damage done as far as I could see but it did not sound pretty scraping against the bottom of my car.

The problem in that particular incident is that the freaking DOT has to clean that snow up. The bank served as a ramp. They are doing a crappy job cleaning those shoulders!
