First obviously was Jerel. Almost 30, including some clutch shots. He's really starting to develop into somebody who can take over. Earlier this year, there was a thread and the general consensus was that Dom would take over at times because nobody else could. Hopefully this is just another step on the way to changing that this month and next year. I usually cringe when he's firing shots that early in a possession but hey can't complain when it finds net.

Dom had a very nice game i thought. All around solid, and I thought him penetrating 5 times in our first 4 possessions of the half was crucial in setting our rhythm and flow.

Mo of course for his great clutch shots and solid all around game.

Fitzgerald had his best game of the year I thought. The steal up top, the defense, the aggressiveness, that cut when Ous was on the baseline, the boards, the willingness to fire when he had a chance and hit some...just great.

And the one guy who can not get enough credit for his play tonight. Ousmane. Harangody had 13 points. 8 were in that 2 and a half minute burst. Of those 8, 4 were more or less in transition and 4 were turnaround fadeaway nobody can stop type of shots. That leaves 5 points. I don't remember all 5 but figure that means at most he scored 2 baskets on Barro due to insufficient d. INCREDIBLE. The way he denied the ball, the way he would force him low enough that he couldn't spin off his left shoulder, the way he would slide to that shoulder when Gody got the ball in a position where he could use that shoulder. That time he was on his back and then pulled off and Gody fell down was awesome. I loved the job Ousmane did.

As Shulman brought up late, we've shut down the top 2 scorers in the league this week. Let's get #3 tomorrow.

don't forget the couple of minutes Trend came in.. another huge boost at the right time.

Great team effort.

Barro stepped up all game.  Than Fitz.  Than McNeal.  Than Dom.  Than Acker.  And finally Hayward hitting those free throws and grabbing those boards.
