Booooo.  I don't like them.  Our school colors are dark blue and more importantly gold.  I don't understand the push for baby blue - are we going to be changing the school colors or something?  Because when you're giving away baby blue Wade jerseys and then baby blue hats and then wearing baby blue jerseys and then ask the crowd to be "a sea of gold" you're sending a mixed message.

I'm not a big fan of the powder blue either.  It would be much better if they were more aqua blue like the 1974 uniforms that they are modeled after.  The powder blue is too North Carolina - the aqua blue would make it more distinctive.

They look awesome in those baby blues!!  The contrast against the royal blue of FGC isn't that great, but WOW!  I love 'em!  The baby blue jinx is dead!  Now, we'll hopefully see them some more.

and our colors are Navy Blue and GOLD.  Not, yellow/orange.  Notre Dame's colors are kelly green and gold, but they wear navy blue.  We wore aqua blue/pale yellow for a few years and I hated it.  The baby blues are not bad, but not our color.  I like the uni, but, again, not our color.

Notre Dame's colors have never been kelly green. They're navy blue and gold.

The light blues are awesome and something tells me the team (at least the seniors) agrees...hence the baby blues on Senior Night.

Compared to the previous 30 years, 3 in a row is kind of a lot. Definitely not MU's ultimate goal... but a step in the right direction.

Also, I have a sneaky feeling the blues were used tonight to get a "win in them"... and may be featured again in either the big east tourney or the NCAA.
