Some left under positive circumstances, some not so much. In some way, they all left because of Caedin - that cannot be disputed.

Considering we haven't had 4 players leave for other schools in one offseason, I thought it would be interesting to keep any eye on how they do this season in one thread.

Dayton & Zaide open up at home against powerhouse NJIT.

Sean and Toledo are at Arkansas St.

Tre & Milwaukee visit #21 USC.

Lehigh visits Sheek and SLU.

The Lens

Kudos to Bart Lundy for scheduling a Monday @USC game.

That's knowing what you're doing.

That's not ideal.

Guess Shaka let him walk, too.  SMDH

Sean had 4 points 4 rebounds and 9 assists......in 33 minutes but only 1-6 from the floor

pbiflyer

Sheek had 2 points, 1 rebound in 8 minutes in 92-67 blow out win.
Major loss by Shaka letting a stat stuffer like that walk.

Of the players that left, he's the one I most hope will have a great year. He was a warrior for us, it just was not in the long term interests of both parties to stay at MU.

Dude was just cooked after that acl. Idk how he's on a D1 roster

Best part about this post is that they (and Caedin in some respect, although still at Marquette) got replaced in the lineup by guys like Josh Clark, Nolan Minessale, Alex Egbuonu and Ethan, DO/PHII getting more minutes.

Length. Athleticism, all over the court.
Even the PG that replaced the 2 guards is a level up.

I wish them the best, but this product excites me more

Happy to see him getting minutes. I really am rooting for Sean. He gave his all here and it just didnt work out the way any of us wanted. Go get em!
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Dude got his degree from MU. To me that makes him an MU for life guy
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Absolutely rooting for Sean Jones and Tre Norman (and teammate Al Amadou). Wishing the other dudes well but I'm not losing sleep over Sheek's poor decision and I root against Dayton no matter who is on the team.

Vander Blue Man Group

Tre played 25 minutes and put up 13 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, an assists, and 4 TOs on 5/13 shooting.

Zaide played 19 minutes and put up 8 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 TOs on 4/7 from the floor.

Zaide started last night but had 2 fouls before the U16 in the first half I believe. I am assuming he plays more than 19 min a night.

Watching Alex play last night he looked like a football player with shoulder pads. I could barely see his neck.

He looked like a football player without shoulder pads. Herman would have commented on his neck. He had a thing about thick necks and also pogo sticks.

If Alex learns to defend better, I think he will get some PT against major opponents.

Last night was a lot of fun, even vs a cupcake.
